The third in the series of Sheep Worrying history productions was THE VERNON BARTLETT SHOW. Written by Brian Smedley the play uncovered the important Bridgwater by election of 1938 when the town hit the headlines across the world for standing up to the Government’s policy of appeasement against Nazi Germany and within 3 years had spawned a whole new twinning relationship between Bridgwater and Czechoslovakia.

The show was directed by Glen Burrows and featured Allan Challenger as Bartlett.
