‘My One Little Murder Won’t Do Any Harm’ was a comedy murder mystery written by Kim Newman as a one-act play. It was performed in 1981 at the Bridgwater Art Centre.
The cast featured Dave Butland, Sue Hickling, Liz Hickling, Kim Newman, Tim Mander, Dave Keighron, Brian Smedley, Pat Hallam, Kevin Freeman, Sally Grieve and Dave Newton.
Songs included ‘The Okeefenokee Swamp Stomp’ by Brian Smedley, who played a Hoagy Carmichael type role at the piano throughout.
Dave Newton stole the show as a shell shock victim and Liz Hickling played East European Mystic Irena Dubrovna.
The show formed part of the bill which also saw the return of the Bridgwater Youth theatre.
