‘In Search of Legends’ was a revue style show put on by Sheep Worrying Theatre at the Bridgwater Arts Centre on two occaisions in 1984. It was written by members of the cast including Brian Smedley, Anne Dixey, Stuart Croskell, and Mark Sanger-Davies.
The show also included a sketch by Kim Newman ‘Night of the Living Dead in the Back Bar of the Mansion House’ which in the re-run featured sci-fi author Neil Gaiman alongside Newman.
Highlights of the show included Dave Newton as a leather jacketed bare chested rock god and Martin Peters as King Alfred the Cake.
